Based on reflections on the documented history of the descendants of the Indios/Locals who inhabited the 7,107 islands before the arrival of Ferdinand Magellan in 1521, all the way up to yesterday - 31 August 2009, I have drawn the conclusion that the proposed presentations of positions for discussion on "How to Unite the Filipinos" is an Exercise in Futility.
1) The logic is simple: Asking the wrong question will give the wrong answer.
2) The exercise in futility started in 1896 and continued in cyclic repetition to today.
3) The only chance for genuine change in the situation is to ask the right question.
4) "How to Unite the Filipinos?" is NOT the right question.
5) "How to Unite the Filipinos?" will NOT evoke the right answer/s.
